Professor Jerry Gana has said the Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike will one day become the President of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain advised Wike not to work against the platform in protest of the outcome of the presidential primary.<\/p>\n
The former Information Minster gave the counsel on Friday during the flag-off of a flyover in Obio\/Akpor.<\/p>\n
Gana said Wike\u2019s sustained emphasis on development projects makes him a good candidate for Nigeria\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n
He added that the governor\u2019s projects have shown that good governance is possible through good leadership.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not a prophet but you have a bright future. If some people have disappointed you this time around, don\u2019t worry, your future is bright.<\/p>\n
\u201cAge is on your side. You will preside over Nigeria someday\u201d, the politician said.<\/p>\n
Gana urged the people to vote for PDP Rivers candidate Siminialayi Fubara, \u201cso that the good things he (Wike) is doing can be continued\u201d.<\/p>\n
The ex-minister appealed to them not to \u201cmake the mistake of throwing away\u201d their votes to another party in 2023.<\/p>\n
In May, Wike lost the PDP presidential ticket to Atiku Abubakar after Sokoto Governor Aminu Tambuwal stepped down for the former vice president.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
