One Preye Harry, 38, who was accused of defiling a 9-year-old minor has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court sitting in Choba Community, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.<\/p>\n
He was arraigned on two counts of defilement and unlawful carnal knowledge of a 9-year-old minor.<\/p>\n
In the charge, Harry was alleged to have sometime in December 2019 defiled the minor and gave her a substance in a calabash to swear to an oath.<\/p>\n
When the case was mentioned in court on Tuesday, Chief Magistrate Israel Agbesor declined jurisdiction and directed that the suspect be sent back to Ozuoba Police Division.<\/p>\n
The Magistrate further directed Ozuoba Police Division to transfer the case file to the state Criminal Investigation Department for proper arraignment at the High Court.<\/p>\n
Preye Harry was alleged to have visited his female lover and took advantage of her absence to defile her niece who was 9 years old.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
