Police in Jigawa State have again uncovered two more abandoned new born babies dumped at the outskirts of Majawa village and Dutse town.<\/p>\n
DAILY POST had reported that a day-old baby was discovered last Friday inside a well at Garin Ganau Village in Babura Local Government, Jigawa State.<\/p>\n
Spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam stated this in a statement issued to DAILY POST.<\/p>\n
He said first incident happened happened on the 28\/11\/2021 at about 1600hrs where a new born baby boy was found and abandoned at the outskirt of Majawa Village, Bulangu District, Kafin Hausa LGA.<\/p>\n
He said a team of Policemen rushed to the scene and the baby was rushed to the General Hospital Kafin Hausa, examined and confirmed dead by Medical Doctor.<\/p>\n
Shiisu said in the course of investigation, a 20-year-old Hansai Muhammad was traced and apprehended for the offence.<\/p>\n
The Police Spokesman added that days later, another abandoned new born baby was also discovered in Dutse.<\/p>\n
He said the baby was also examined and certified healthy by a medical doctor and was handed over to Orphanage House in Dutse for care and upkeep.<\/p>\n
