{"id":418461,"date":"2021-11-29T17:30:06","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T16:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=418461"},"modified":"2021-11-29T17:30:11","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T16:30:11","slug":"man-sexually-molests-friends-10-year-old-daughter-blames-devil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=418461","title":{"rendered":"Man sexually molests friend\u2019s 10-year-old daughter, blames devil"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">A 34-year-old man, Godwin Iroro, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police command for defiling his friend\u2019s 10-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, who was arrested on November 25, 2021, blamed the devil for his action.<\/p>\n<p>Iroro was arrested after a complaint was lodged at the Police Station by the victim\u2019s father, Chukwudi Chime, who noticed unusual and awkward movements of his daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The Command\u2019s spokesman in the state, Adekunle Ajisebutu, in a statement confirmed that the suspect confessed to the crime but blamed the devil.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the statement read, \u201cThe little girl (victim) when questioned, disclosed that her father\u2019s friend, a father of four who also lives in the same compound at 5, Iyalode Street, Ajegunle, Lagos, had carnal knowledge of her when her father was out of the house.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreliminary investigation revealed that both men are separated from their wives. While the victim lives with her father at the above address.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect confessed to the crime but blamed it on the devil.
