{"id":395602,"date":"2021-09-20T20:17:04","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T19:17:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=395602"},"modified":"2021-09-20T20:22:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T19:22:55","slug":"nigerias-unity-unshakable-despite-agitations-lai-mohammed-claims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=395602","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria&#8217;s unity unshakable despite agitations &#8211; Lai Mohammed claims"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Federal Government has said Nigeria\u2019s resolve to remain united is unshakable.<\/p>\n<p>Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, said despite challenges, Nigeria would remain united.<\/p>\n<p>He disclosed this at the opening of \u2018Nigeria at 60 Photo Exhibition with the theme \u201c60 Years of Our Togetherness,\u201d on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mohammed: \u201cThe theme of the photo exhibition has been carefully couched to reflect the unity of this great country in the past 60 years, despite its diverse cultures, traditions, practices, languages and challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike other countries in the world, it is an incontrovertible fact that Nigeria, over the years, has gone through challenging times, but we must not miss the fact of its resolve to remain one indivisible entity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is coming at a time separatist leaders, Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho have been agitating for the country\u2019s breakup.<\/p>\n<p>While Kanu was apprehended by Nigerian security operatives, Igboho is locked up in Benin Republic.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Mohammed said his Ministry is using the opportunity provided by the Independence Anniversary celebration to organise a photo exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>He said the exhibition is aimed at informing and educating Nigerian youths on the country\u2019s history, unique heritage, and the secrets behind its unity in diversity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Government has said Nigeria\u2019s resolve to remain united is unshakable.
