{"id":393639,"date":"2021-09-14T05:42:13","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T04:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=393639"},"modified":"2021-09-14T05:44:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-14T04:44:55","slug":"nscdc-officer-dies-in-road-crash-in-jigawa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=393639","title":{"rendered":"NSCDC officer dies in road crash in Jigawa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State has confirmed the death of DSC Idris Lawan.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman, CSC Adamu Shehu in a statement on Minday said Lawan died in a fatal crash.<\/p>\n<p>The accident occurred on the Kano-Hadejia road while the deceased was on his way to Malam Madori town.<\/p>\n<p>Shehu was Malam Madori was Lawan\u2019s place of primary assignment.<\/p>\n<p>The Commandant, Mustapha Talba has commiserated with the family and personnel of the corps.<\/p>\n<p>Talba prayed to God to have mercy on the departed soul and look after his family.<\/p>\n<p>Lawan joined the NSCDC in 2010 as ASC II and served in various capacities.<\/p>\n<p>He was Acting Divisional Officer, Kafin Hausa, and Divisional Officer, Kafin-Hausa and Maigatari until his passing.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong><em>(DailyPost)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State has confirmed the death of DSC Idris Lawan.
