{"id":390034,"date":"2021-09-02T12:41:33","date_gmt":"2021-09-02T11:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=390034"},"modified":"2021-09-02T12:45:06","modified_gmt":"2021-09-02T11:45:06","slug":"mob-action-suspected-thief-killed-in-jigawa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=390034","title":{"rendered":"Mob Action: Suspected thief killed in Jigawa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Angry mob have meted out jungle Justice on suspected domestic animal thieves at Yandamo Fulani settlement, in Sule-tankarkar local Government area of Jigawa State.<br \/>\nAccording to an eyewitness who preferred anonymity, the incident happened yesterday when a number of angry youths from Amanga Village traced footprints of their stolen domestic animals to the house of one Alh Umaru Sale in Yandamo Fulani settlement.<br \/>\nThe mob decided to engage in jungle Justice by attacking three persons- Babangida Umaru, Amadu Sale and Manu Babangida suspected to be the thieves of the animals.<br \/>\nHe said as s result, they sustained various degree of injuries.<br \/>\nPolice spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.<br \/>\nHe said some angry mob traced their stolen animals at Yandamo Fulani settlement and attacked three persons suspected to be the thieves and took to their heels.<br \/>\nShiisu said a team of policemen rushed to the scene and the victims were rushed to Sule Tankarkar primary health care for medical treatment.<br \/>\nHe said one of the victims, Ahmadu Sale Died while receiving treatment as a result of the attack.<br \/>\nThe police spokesman said eight persons have been arrested over the attack.<br \/>\nHe said the state commissioner of Police, CP A S Tafida directs that the case should be transferred to SCID Dutse, for discreet investigation.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Angry mob have meted out jungle Justice on suspected domestic animal thieves at Yandamo Fulani settlement, in Sule-tankarkar local Government area of Jigawa State.
