{"id":388923,"date":"2021-08-29T21:47:32","date_gmt":"2021-08-29T20:47:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=388923"},"modified":"2021-08-29T21:47:58","modified_gmt":"2021-08-29T20:47:58","slug":"nigerian-soldier-kills-parents-22-year-old-only-son-for-slapping-his-daughter-in-church","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=388923","title":{"rendered":"Nigerian Soldier Kills Parents&#8217; 22-year-old Only Son For Slapping His Daughter In Church"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>A Nigerian soldier identified as Adeoye Oluwole has been accused of beating a 22-year-old man, Hope Tava Anthony to death for slapping his daughter during a quarrel that occurred in a church in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.<br \/>\n<span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was gathered that the deceased and the soldier\u2019s daughter, identified as Adeoye Precious, had a misunderstanding after he confronted her for insulting their reverend father, on Friday, August 25, 2021.<br \/>\n<span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-jpeg view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2021\/08\/Nigerian-Soldier-Kills-Parents-22-year-old-Only-Son-For-Slapping-His.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Precious was said to have also insulted Anthony and his late father, which led him to slap her.<\/p>\n<p>The matter was later resolved and both of them were punished in church but Precious went home to report to her father, who picked Anthony up and took him to Ilese Sappers Barracks, where he was beaten mercilessly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was the people around that begged for him before the soldier allowed him to go after a severe beating. On getting home, he refused to tell his widowed mum what happened, maybe he didn\u2019t want to hurt her. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had complained of having a headache and body pain and said he needed some rest. He went to bed on Friday night and never woke up. He was taken to the hospital yesterday, where doctors confirmed that he died from internal bleeding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was the only son of his mum.
