{"id":387568,"date":"2021-08-25T10:58:21","date_gmt":"2021-08-25T09:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=387568"},"modified":"2021-08-25T10:58:50","modified_gmt":"2021-08-25T09:58:50","slug":"kidnap-victim-rescued-from-rivers-forest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=387568","title":{"rendered":"Kidnap victim rescued from Rivers forest"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Rivers State Police Command has rescued one Enyindah Lawson-Ndu who was kidnapped at Elelenwo community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State last week Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The command Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, who disclosed this in a statement, said the victim was rescued in a forest in Kono-Boue in Khana Local Government Area of the state while operatives of the command were in search of the hoodlums, who had killed three persons in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Omoni said they ran into Lawson-Ndu where he was tied and kept and immediately \u201crescued him and sent him for medical attention\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman also disclosed that investigation into the killing of about three people in Kono-Boue on Tuesday has commenced in compliance with \u201cthe directive of the commissioner of police\u201d, Friday Eboka.<\/p>\n<p>The statement named those killed in Kono-Boue as \u201cNamene Kialede (30) Muaka Ikara (42) and Kingsley Kponee\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging that no arrest has been made on the killing, the police spokesman assured that efforts \u201care seriously on to arrest the perpetrators\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>(DailyPost)<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rivers State Police Command has rescued one Enyindah Lawson-Ndu who was kidnapped at Elelenwo community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State last week Thursday.
