{"id":375400,"date":"2021-07-19T19:48:02","date_gmt":"2021-07-19T18:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=375400"},"modified":"2021-07-19T20:03:39","modified_gmt":"2021-07-19T19:03:39","slug":"lagos-records-four-covid-19-related-deaths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=375400","title":{"rendered":"Lagos records four COVID-19 related deaths"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Lagos State has recorded four COVID-19 related deaths between July 14 and July 17 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who made the disclosure on his Facebook page, said that the deaths increased the state\u2019s COVID-19 related mortality to 363.<\/p>\n<p>He, however, did not give additional information about the deceased\u2019s sex or age.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, there are currently 1,045 active COVID-19 cases in communities being managed under Home Based Care.<\/p>\n<p>He said that 5,455 tests were conducted on the reported dates, out of which 205 new COVID-19 infections were confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new infections increased the state\u2019s total COVID-19 infections to 61,026,\u201d Abayomi said.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that 55, 617 of the infected people had recovered in communities, while 3,943 had recovered in the state\u2019s COVID-19 isolation centres.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the total number of COVID-19 tests conducted in the state since inception of the pandemic stood at 578,079.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lagos State has recorded four COVID-19 related deaths between July 14 and July 17 2021.
