{"id":366274,"date":"2021-06-22T11:00:06","date_gmt":"2021-06-22T10:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=366274"},"modified":"2021-06-22T11:00:40","modified_gmt":"2021-06-22T10:00:40","slug":"apc-will-suffer-challenges-when-buhari-leaves-lawan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=366274","title":{"rendered":"APC will suffer challenges when Buhari leaves &#8211; Lawan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Senate President Ahmad Lawan, on Monday predicted that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would suffer challenges after President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s tenure elapses in 2023.<br \/>\nHe made the prediction on Monday night while delivering a speech to close the First Progressives Youth Conference 2021 which was held at the International Conference Centre, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.<br \/>\nThe Senate President urged the party members to plan ahead of Buhari\u2019s exit in a bid to sustain the goodwill and legacies of the present administration, stressing that only such a move would keep the party relevant beyond 2023.<br \/>\nPDP will suffer if I leave \u2013 Gov Wike boasts<br \/>\nAccording to Lawan, \u201cWhether we like it or not, the truth is, President Muhammadu Buhari remains the person with the bulk of the support we get across this country in APC.<br \/>\n\u201cAnd when he leaves, he will still have some roles, but I daresay that it is after he leaves office that APC will face its challenge.<br \/>\n\u201cYes, we have to know our value then, and the value of APC presently is APC minus President Muhammadu Buhari.
