{"id":361334,"date":"2021-06-06T22:46:33","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T21:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=361334"},"modified":"2021-06-06T22:55:24","modified_gmt":"2021-06-06T21:55:24","slug":"obasanjo-installs-new-chiefs-in-abeokuta-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=361334","title":{"rendered":"Obasanjo \u2018installs\u2019 new chiefs in Abeokuta [PHOTOS]"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has joined other Owu indigenes to install two chiefs in Abeokuta.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST reports that Obasanjo is the Balogun of Owu Kingdom in Ogun Central Senatorial District.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-887809\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2021\/06\/Obasanjo-\u2018installs-new-chiefs-in-Abeokuta-PHOTOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the Egba High Chief performed the installation rites for Chief Olumide Aderinokun and his wife, Stephanie, who were both installed as Akinruyiwa and Yeye Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom respectively.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-887810\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2021\/06\/1623011387_633_Obasanjo-\u2018installs-new-chiefs-in-Abeokuta-PHOTOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p>The former President did the installation on behalf of the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Adeboyega Dosunmu, who was conspicuously absent at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Obasanjo, while presenting staff of office to the new titleholders, admonished them to be good ambassadors of Owu and Ogun State in general.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-887812\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2021\/06\/1623011387_8_Obasanjo-\u2018installs-new-chiefs-in-Abeokuta-PHOTOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p>The event, which was held at the Palace of the Olowu Kingdom, had in attendance, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Titilayo Oseni-Gomez; a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu; PDP National Ex-Officio, Barr.
