{"id":332784,"date":"2021-03-28T19:42:04","date_gmt":"2021-03-28T18:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=332784"},"modified":"2021-03-28T19:52:06","modified_gmt":"2021-03-28T18:52:06","slug":"69th-birthday-sanwo-olu-describes-tinubu-as-a-cheerful-giver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=332784","title":{"rendered":"69th birthday: Sanwo-Olu describes Tinubu as &#8216; a cheerful giver&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, on his 69th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Gboyega Akosile, described the former governor of Lagos State as a cheerful giver who cares for others.<\/p>\n<p>He said Tinubu left impeccable records in the state after setting the right template for economic growth and political stability when he was the governor.<\/p>\n<p>Sanwo Olu said the national leader of the APC is a political pathfinder, nationalist and detribalised Nigerian who has contributed, in no small measure, to the socio-political and economic growth of the state and Nigeria as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cAsiwaju Tinubu is a major stabilising factor for Nigeria\u2019s current democratic dispensation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dAs a pathfinder, Asiwaju charted the developmental trajectory of modern Lagos, raising the bar of governance and public service in the state and indeed, Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dA cheerful giver who cares about the welfare of the people, Asiwaju personifies tolerance and humanity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe story of Nigeria\u2019s democracy cannot be told without the name of Jagaban Borgu written in gold.
