\nMessi is however, earning astonishingly more than twice the wages of his rival.
\nRecall that Messi\u2019s Barcelona contract details were leaked earlier in the year and it was the biggest deal in sporting history.
\nAnd now French outlet, L\u2019Equipe reports that the Argentina International\u2019s salary breaks down to an incredible weekly wage of \u00a32.1 million which is about \u00a3108.2 million yearly income.
\nRonaldo is second on the list with \u00a3900,000 weekly from Juventus, according to L\u2019Equipe and earns \u00a346.7 million per year.
\nThis is less than half of Messi\u2019s salary.
\nBrazilian international and Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, occupies the third position with the earnings of \u00a3606,000 per week (\u00a331.5 million per year) from the French champions.
\nJoint fourth on the list, Luis Suarez, collects \u00a3575,000 per week from Atletico Madrid and Barca\u2019s Antoine Griezmann earns something similar: just under \u00a330 million per year, according to the report.
\nAnother PSG star, Kylian Mbappe will apparently get a salary increase to \u20ac30 million per season if he signs a new contract with the club.
