Chelsea star, Kai Havertz, has promised to improve and give his best for the club in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n
Havertz has also revealed that a false nine position will be good for him in the Blues\u2019 squad, adding that he likes to have freedom on the pitch.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old said this after his impressive display in Chelsea\u2019s 2-0 victory against Everton in the Premier League on Monday night.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow we are four points in front of them [Everton], and we have to secure that. That\u2019s the plan, our goal is the Champions League,\u201d the Germany international said as quoted by Chelsea\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have to be strong in the next few matches as well, and that\u2019s my goal. I will try to improve, I will try to give my best in the next few weeks, and then I hope it will continue like that.<\/p>\n
\u201cI played like a false nine, I had the freedom to go everywhere I wanted to go, and I think that\u2019s good for me. I like to have freedom on the pitch. I think I was lucky to score a goal, but I\u2019m very happy with the performance, not only from me but the whole group.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think we can do a lot better than today, but the result was a win, so of course, we\u2019re very happy with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Havertz will hope to continue his impressive performance for Thomas Tuchel\u2019s side when they tackle Leeds United on Saturday.<\/p>\n
