Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has appointed seven special advisers.<\/p>\n
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, announced this in a statement in Ilorin on Friday.<\/p>\n
The special advisers are: Brigadier General Tunde Bello, (RTD) Security; Professor Adekunle Dunmade, (Health); Ahmed Yinka Aluko, (Special Duties); and Attahiru Ibrahim, (Sports & Youths).<\/p>\n
Also appointed are former Special Adviser Political, Saadu Salaudeen, now Special Adviser Strategy, while the former Special Adviser Strategy, Abdullateef Alakawa, is now the new Special Adviser Political.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, Mr Bashir Adigun, a senior journalist, has also been appointed as the special adviser political communications to the governor.<\/p>\n
Adigun, was until his new appointment, the controller of news and current affairs (Northern Nigeria) for Channels TV, and Abuja correspondent for a leading global Newswire, Associated Press.<\/p>\n
He also worked as a reporter and researcher at Guardian Newspapers.<\/p>\n
