{"id":306690,"date":"2021-01-22T18:51:53","date_gmt":"2021-01-22T17:51:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=306690"},"modified":"2021-01-22T19:05:11","modified_gmt":"2021-01-22T18:05:11","slug":"troops-arrest-two-suspected-kidnappers-in-kaduna-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=306690","title":{"rendered":"Troops arrest two suspected kidnappers in Kaduna village"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, otherwise known as Shi\u2019ites, has lamented the continued incarceration of its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenah Ibrahim, alleging that they may have contracted the deadly COVID-19.<br \/>\nIMN said it was deeply concerned that even six days after contracting the dreaded virus in prison, Zeenah, has not been taken to any specialized hospital for such patients to receive proper medical care.<br \/>\nIn a statement signed by Ibrahim Musa, its President, Media Forum, the group noted that their leader requires urgent medical attention at this points.<br \/>\n\u201cWe all know that COVID-19 requires an immediate response of urgent adherence to medical advice, more so, Zeenah has been denied treatment for acute medical conditions including severe arthritis of the knee for five years now.<br \/>\n\u201cYet she is still in Kaduna prison at the moment, yet to be hospitalized, and yet to receive proper health care,\u201d the statement added.<br \/>\nShiites lamented that their leader\u2019s wife may fall severely ill and risks death due to her age.<br \/>\n\u201cGiven her underlying medical conditions and age, her infection places her at heightened risk of severe illness and\/or death.<br \/>\n\u201cSheikh Zakzaky himself suffers from many underlying conditions which put him at high risk of developing life-threatening symptoms should he contract the virus.<br \/>\nThe couple are due to appear in court on Monday 25 January to face the bogus charges brought against them by the government of Nasir El-Rufa\u2019i.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, otherwise known as Shi\u2019ites, has lamented the continued incarceration of its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenah Ibrahim, alleging that they may have contracted the deadly COVID-19.
