{"id":296728,"date":"2020-12-25T16:49:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-25T15:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=296728"},"modified":"2020-12-25T17:07:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-25T16:07:43","slug":"igp-approves-deployment-of-5-digs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=296728","title":{"rendered":"IGP approves deployment of 5 DIGs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has approved the deployment of the five newly promoted Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) to departments of the force.<br \/>\nThe Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr Frank Mba disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.<br \/>\nTheir deployment followed the recent promotion of senior police officers by the Police Service Commission (PSC).<br \/>\n\u201cThe newly promoted DIGs and their postings include \u2013 Usman Baba, Force Criminal Investigations Department; Ibrahim Lamorde, Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) and David Folawiyo, Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Department.<br \/>\n\u201cOthers are Joseph Egbunike, Finance and Administration Department and Dan-Mallam Mohammed, Training and Development Department,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nMba said Mr Moses Jitoboh, a newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) was redeployed from the Border Patrol Section to the Department of Research and Planning.<br \/>\nHe said that the IG had congratulated the officers, who by their promotion had become members of the force management team.<br \/>\nThe FPRO noted that the redeployments were with immediate effect.\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has approved the deployment of the five newly promoted Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) to departments of the force.
