{"id":241927,"date":"2020-07-30T23:45:49","date_gmt":"2020-07-30T22:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=241927"},"modified":"2020-07-31T09:33:58","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T08:33:58","slug":"bill-gates-and-i-are-not-lovers-elon-musk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=241927","title":{"rendered":"Bill Gates and I are not lovers &#8211; Elon Musk"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">SpaceX Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, has mocked Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates.<\/p>\n<p>The duo, both billionaires, are lashing out at each other over differing stances on the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, he tweeted: \u201cThe rumor that Bill Gates &amp; I are lovers is completely untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His reaction was sequel to Gates\u2019 advise that Elon should focus on cars and rockets.<\/p>\n<p>The tech guru told Musk not to involve himself in areas he has no knowledge of.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Musk spoke against some of the restrictions put in place by governments.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla CEO called California\u2019s stay-at-home order \u201cfascist\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Musk said there are a ridiculous number of false positive COVID-19 tests, in some cases, 50%.<\/p>\n<p>He tweeted: \u201cFalse positives scale linearly with number of tests. This is a big part of why COVID-19 positive tests are going up while hospitalizations and mortality are declining. Anyone who tests positive should retest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to CNBC, Gates stated that Elon\u2019s positioning \u201cis to maintain a high level of outrageous comments. He\u2019s not much involved in vaccines. He makes a great electric car. And his rockets work well. So he\u2019s allowed to say these things.
