{"id":237683,"date":"2020-07-19T11:38:12","date_gmt":"2020-07-19T10:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=237683"},"modified":"2020-07-19T11:43:23","modified_gmt":"2020-07-19T10:43:23","slug":"over-2000-delegates-will-participate-in-ondo-governorship-primaries-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=237683","title":{"rendered":"Over 2000 delegates will participate in Ondo governorship primaries &#8211; APC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Ahead of Monday\u2019s primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, about 2,500 delegates will elect the party\u2019s standard bearer for the October 10, 2020 governorship polls in the state.<br \/>\nAccording to APC, Ondo State chapter, the delegates which cut across the 203 wards of the state are qualified to vote for their preferred aspirants on Monday.<br \/>\n12 governorship aspirants including the incumbent governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu have been cleared by the party to contest the APC ticket.<br \/>\nThe aspirants are: Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Segun Abraham, Joseph Iji, Olusola Oke, Olayide Adelami, and Isaacs Kekemeke.<br \/>\nOthers are Ife Oyedele, Jimmy Odimayo, Olajumoke Anifowoshe, Awodeyi Akinsehinwa, Olubukola Adetula and Nathaniel Adojutelegan.<br \/>\nThe party\u2019s Publicity Secretary in the state, Alex Kalejaiye, while confirming this, \u201cthe delegates consist of 12 each from the 203 wards, and 72 from the state executive. We have delegates from local government areas.<br \/>\n\u201cWe have House of Assembly and National Assembly members as automatic delegates.
