{"id":226034,"date":"2020-06-13T17:42:51","date_gmt":"2020-06-13T16:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=226034"},"modified":"2020-06-13T17:47:17","modified_gmt":"2020-06-13T16:47:17","slug":"aisha-president-buhari-under-fire-over-gunshots-at-presidential-villa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=226034","title":{"rendered":"Aisha: President Buhari under fire over gunshots at Presidential Villa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as unfit to occupy the office of a president.<br \/>\nOmokri lamented that President Buhari cannot govern his own home, least of all a nation.<br \/>\nThe former presidential aide was reacting to reports of gunshots heard in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.<br \/>\nShots were allegedly fired by an aide to Buhari\u2019s wife, Aisha during a misunderstanding between the First Lady and the President\u2019s Personal Assistant, Sabiu Yusuf.<br \/>\nThe scramble and gunshots were said to have led to the arrest of Mrs Buhari\u2019s aide.<br \/>\nIn a series of tweets, Aisha Buhari yesterday called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu to release her aide.<br \/>\nReacting, Omokri lamented that such was never heard during the administrations of ex-Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar\u2019Adua and Jonathan.<br \/>\nIn a post on his Facebook, Omokri wrote: \u201cLook what General Buhari has reduced Nigeria\u2019s Presidency to. For 16 years of Obasanjo, Yar\u2019adua and Jonathan\u2019s rule, this never happened. If there is a civil war in Aso Rock, can we have peace in Nigeria?<br \/>\n\u201cBuhari can\u2019t govern his own home. How then can he govern the nation? Is this man a fit and proper person to hold the office of President of Nigeria?
