{"id":221480,"date":"2020-05-29T07:22:15","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T06:22:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=221480"},"modified":"2020-05-29T07:31:07","modified_gmt":"2020-05-29T06:31:07","slug":"coronavirus-six-persons-test-positive-in-kaduna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=221480","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus: Six persons test positive in Kaduna"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Kaduna State Government has confirmed that six persons have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus disease in the State.<\/p>\n<p>The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, had on Thursday announced that 182 new cases of the viral infection have been recorded in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the 182 new confirmed cases, 6 were recorded in Kaduna.<\/p>\n<p>Confirming the development, the State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai in a tweet via his Twitter account, said that one patient had been discharged after showing full recovery from the virus.<\/p>\n<p>The tweet reads \u201cCOVID19 Kaduna Update:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne patient is due for discharge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSix more cases have been reported, five of them contacts of earlier cases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new cases are from Giwa (2), Kaduna South (2), Kaduna North (1) and Zaria (1).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents are advised to stay safe and adhere to social distancing rules.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kaduna State Government has confirmed that six persons have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus disease in the State.
