{"id":217309,"date":"2020-05-08T10:12:29","date_gmt":"2020-05-08T09:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=217309"},"modified":"2020-05-08T10:12:56","modified_gmt":"2020-05-08T09:12:56","slug":"11-new-cases-of-coronavirus-confirmed-in-katsina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=217309","title":{"rendered":"11 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Katsina"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Katsina State Government has confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus disease in the State.<\/p>\n<p>The confirmation was made known by the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari in a tweet via his Twitter account on Friday, stating that the State has recorded a total of 8 deaths.<\/p>\n<p>The tweet read \u201cCOVID-19 Update as at 7th May 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c11 new cases of COVID19 Katsina cases confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTotal confirmed cases in Katsina are now 106.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c764 people have been tested.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTotal number of active cases-89.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA total number of 9 patients have been discharged with 8 deaths recorded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents are advised to stay home and stay safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control on Thursday confirmed 381 new cases of coronavirus disease in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria now has 3526 confirmed cases; 601 patients have been discharged, while 107 deaths have been recorded.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Katsina State Government has confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus disease in the State.
