{"id":214428,"date":"2020-04-28T21:03:03","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T20:03:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=214428"},"modified":"2020-04-28T21:03:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T20:03:11","slug":"free-money-scammers-on-prowl-efcc-exposes-new-tricks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=214428","title":{"rendered":"Free money scammers on prowl &#8211; EFCC exposes new tricks"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has again cautioned Nigerians to be wary of fraudulent activities of scammers.<br \/>\nActing Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, on Tuesday, warned that faceless elements were circulating \u201cFree N5,000 lockdown funds\u201d messages.<br \/>\nA statement by Tony Orilade, EFCC spokesman, quoted Magu as saying that the claim was being circulated through a phishing link via WhatsApp.<br \/>\n\u201cThe link is embedded with a link titled https:\/\/bit.ly\/free-N5000.
