{"id":213521,"date":"2020-04-25T22:05:40","date_gmt":"2020-04-25T21:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=213521"},"modified":"2020-04-26T07:58:43","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T06:58:43","slug":"kaduna-six-covid-19-patients-discharged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=213521","title":{"rendered":"Kaduna: Six COVID-19 patients discharged"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Six more COVID-19 patients have been discharged in Kaduna State.<br \/>\n<span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Commissioner for Health in the state, Amina Mohammed Baloni, confirmed the development in a statement on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cThe index case, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, was discharged on April, 22, 2020, after two consecutive negative test results.<br \/>\n<span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-jpeg view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2020\/04\/Kaduna-Discharges-Six-COVID-19-Patients.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFive cases were earlier discharged in one week, starting from 14 April 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She however, expressed regrets that the state had recorded a new case of the disease, saying as of Saturday afternoon, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Kaduna were four.<\/p>\n<p>Baloni said contact tracing was ongoing to identify persons the new case had interacted with so that they can be monitored and tested if they meet the case definition.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Six more COVID-19 patients have been discharged in Kaduna State.
