{"id":212804,"date":"2020-04-23T14:59:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T13:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=212804"},"modified":"2020-04-23T14:59:59","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T13:59:59","slug":"four-new-cases-of-covid-19-confirmed-in-ogun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=212804","title":{"rendered":"Four new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ogun"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Government of Ogun State has said four new COVID-19 cases have been discovered in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The State Commissioner for Health, Tomi Coker, said the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the new cases as of 11:25 pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>This brings the total to 24 confirmed cases in the state.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST learnt that three of the four confirmed cases emerged from Ado-Odo\/Ota Local Government, while one was recorded in Ikenne.<\/p>\n<p>Coker said close contacts of all the four cases have already been identified.<\/p>\n<p>She said they were being observed in one of the state\u2019s isolation centres, while tracing is ongoing to identify and quarantine all possible contacts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far, the LGAs where cases have been confirmed and contacts identified remain 9. The LGAs include: Ipokia, Sagamu, Ewekoro, Ikenne, Yewa South, Ado-Odo\/Ota, Obafemi Owode, Odogbolu, and Imeko Afon.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Ogun State has said four new COVID-19 cases have been discovered in the state.
