{"id":211025,"date":"2020-04-18T13:00:15","date_gmt":"2020-04-18T12:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=211025"},"modified":"2020-04-18T13:12:24","modified_gmt":"2020-04-18T12:12:24","slug":"covid-19-frsc-announces-fines-for-violators-of-restriction-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=211025","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: FRSC announces fines for violators of restriction order"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, has directed Sector Commanders of FCT and Lagos State to work with authorities to ensure effective Mobile Court operations for violators of the COVID-19 lockdown order.<br \/>\nBisi Kazeem, Public Education Officer, in a statement on Friday, said the establishment of the Court followed some citizens\u2019 disregard for restrictions.<br \/>\nKazeem listed the penalties that defaulters prosecuted according to the law would face.<br \/>\n\u201cFor individuals arrested violating the order, they will be liable to pay the sum of N10000 as fine and also engage in community service for 7 days.<br \/>\n\u201cTricycle Operators who violate will pay the sum of N7000, while Motorcycle operators will pay N7000, Cars N20000, and Trucks N50000.
