Ishaku closes down Taraba borders"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has directed the closure of all roads leading into Taraba State.<\/p>\n<p>The governor\u2019s directives were contained in a press statement issued on Saturday by his press secretary Hassan Mijinyawa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku has banned travels in and out of Taraba state with effect from Sunday, 29th March, 2020 to check spread of corona virus in the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to close the state\u2019s land borders was taken as part of continued efforts by the state government to protect the residents from the spread of the dreaded corona virus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe commissioner of police and the commandant of National security and Civil Defence Corps have been directed to ensure strict compliance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The governor recently closed down all the private and public institutions in the state in other to stop the spread of the COVID 19 within the state.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has directed the closure of all roads leading into Taraba State.
