{"id":202644,"date":"2020-03-18T20:33:29","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T19:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=202644"},"modified":"2020-03-18T20:34:09","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T19:34:09","slug":"breaking-nnpc-confirms-fuel-price-reduction-reveals-new-cost-commencement-date-daily-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=202644","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: NNPC confirms fuel price reduction, reveals new cost, commencement date | Daily Post"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced that it had reviewed its Ex-coastal, Ex-depot and NNPC Retail pump prices.<\/p>\n<p>Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director, NNPC confirmed this in a statement he personally signed Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The release made available to DAILY POST noted that the development was compliance with the directives of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva on PMS pricing.<\/p>\n<p>Kyari noted that effective 19th March 2020, NNPC, Ex-Coastal price for PMS has been reviewed downwards from N117.6\/litre to N99.44\/litre.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Ex-Depot price is reduced from N133.28\/litre to N113.28\/litre.<\/p>\n<p>He said these reductions will therefore translate to N125\/litre retail pump price.<\/p>\n<p>Kyari added that despite \u201cthe obvious cost implication of this immediate adjustment to the Corporation, NNPC is delighted to effect this massive reduction of N20\/litre for the benefit of all Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccordingly, all NNPC Retail stations nationwide have been directed to change the retail pump price to N125\/litre\u201d, the statement concluded<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced that it had reviewed its Ex-coastal, Ex-depot and NNPC Retail pump prices.
