{"id":199785,"date":"2020-03-08T10:35:03","date_gmt":"2020-03-08T09:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=199785"},"modified":"2020-03-08T10:36:23","modified_gmt":"2020-03-08T09:36:23","slug":"rivers-police-kills-small-witch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=199785","title":{"rendered":"Rivers Police kills &#8216;Small Witch&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">\n<p>One Ekeni Ore-Owaji Titus Sunday, a suspected notorious criminal ring leader, also known as \u2018Small Witch\u2019 has been killed by a combined team of security operatives in Andoni local government of Rivers State.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Small Witch\u2019 was killed along with his second in command and another yet to be identified member of his gang following a joint operation comprising the police and the Nigerian Army which commenced in the early hours of Saturday in Asarama community, Andoni Local Government.<\/p>\n<p>A community source told DAILY POST that there was a reign of gun shots in the community that left residents scampering for safety.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing newsmen while parading the bodies of \u2018Small Witch\u2019 and two other casualties, Spokesman for the Rivers State Police Command, DSP Nnamdi Omoni said, \u201cOn sighting us, we engaged them in a gun battle.
