{"id":197784,"date":"2020-02-29T23:57:48","date_gmt":"2020-02-29T22:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=197784"},"modified":"2020-02-29T23:58:50","modified_gmt":"2020-02-29T22:58:50","slug":"anthony-joshua-warned-over-fighting-fury-after-wilders-defeat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=197784","title":{"rendered":"Anthony Joshua warned over fighting Fury after Wilder&#8217;s defeat"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Former WBC and WBO middleweight champion, Kelly Pavlik, has warned British fighter, Anthony Joshua, that he would be an \u2018easier fight\u2019 for his fellow countryman, Tyson Fury to knock out than American boxer, Deontay Wilder.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST had reported that Joshua asked boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, to come to terms with Fury over a unification fight after 31-year-old defeated American boxer, Deontay Wilder.<\/p>\n<p>Fury defeated Wilder in the 7th round at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA, to regain the WBC world heavyweight title some days ago.<\/p>\n<p>But Pavlik believes Joshua would be a lesser threat to Fury if both heavyweight champions were to face-off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Tyson Fury is absolutely the best heavyweight ahead of Joshua out there right now,\u201d Pavlik was quoted by Metro UK as saying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to see Fury fighting Joshua now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is so big and fights so well for being a big guy, you know, 6\u20199 \u2033 is big, and I think his boxing ability and boxing IQ helps him win that fight against Wilder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Fury fighting Joshua will be an easier fight than it was against Wilder.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former WBC and WBO middleweight champion, Kelly Pavlik, has warned British fighter, Anthony Joshua, that he would be an \u2018easier fight\u2019 for his fellow countryman, Tyson Fury to knock out than American boxer, Deontay Wilder.
