{"id":195615,"date":"2020-02-21T16:08:56","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T15:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=195615"},"modified":"2020-02-21T16:09:18","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T15:09:18","slug":"aisha-yesufu-reacts-to-ohanaezes-call-for-her-arrest-over-amaechis-life-dares-petitioners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=195615","title":{"rendered":"Aisha Yesufu reacts to Ohanaeze&#8217;s call for her arrest over Amaechi&#8217;s life, dares petitioners"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Aisha Yesufu, co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls campaign group, has reacted to calls for her arrest and questioning by the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST reported that Ohanaeze, on Thursday in a statement, accused Aisha of having information liable of endangering the life of the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, following the release of a video circulated by her on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization called on security agencies to arrest and question Aisha.<\/p>\n<p>This is following Aisha\u2019s statement on Twitter claiming that Amaechi and his convoy fled after kidnappers attacked passengers at Rigasa train station on Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Aisha, reacting to the call for her arrest, dared those signing petitions to go ahead.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on her Twitter page, she said, \u201cI have read and heard the petition and report seeking my arrest and questioning over the train incident I reported which had Amaechi as a victim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe an arrest will make my cheeks come down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe security circle knew about that attack, and they did not do anything about it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m repeating my earlier statement that I had two siblings on that train and a sister-in-law.
