{"id":194109,"date":"2020-02-16T11:30:31","date_gmt":"2020-02-16T10:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=194109"},"modified":"2020-02-16T11:31:03","modified_gmt":"2020-02-16T10:31:03","slug":"lasema-releases-name-age-address-of-man-who-jumped-into-lagos-lagoon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=194109","title":{"rendered":"LASEMA releases name, age, address of man who jumped into Lagos lagoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA says the man who jumped into the lagoon is 22-year-old Daibo Davies.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred on Saturday around 11am at the Third Mainland Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Director-General of LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, gave an update in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).<\/p>\n<p>The official said that LASEMA was collaborating with other agencies in the rescue operation.<\/p>\n<p>He said Davies, who was born on 22nd July 1998, jumped into the lagoon inward Adeniji Adele.<\/p>\n<p>Oke-Osanyintolu disclosed that Davies was coming from a hospital with an Uber taxi, when he stopped and jumped into the lagoon.<\/p>\n<p>He said that LASEMA got information about Davies from the taxi driver.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Uber driver said the missing guy was residing at 17, Sosanya St., Gbagada Soluyi, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvestigations revealed that he told the Uber driver that he had a stomach upset.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe driver stopped at his request; he then jumped off the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe agency\u2019s response team, with the Lagos Fire Service, Marine Rescue team, Lagos State Waterways Authority, Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, Marine Police and local divers are on ground,\u201d Oke-Osanyintolu said.<\/p>\n<p>Effort to locate Davies was still on as at Saturday night.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA says the man who jumped into the lagoon is 22-year-old Daibo Davies.
