{"id":191681,"date":"2020-02-06T19:27:34","date_gmt":"2020-02-06T18:27:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=191681"},"modified":"2020-02-06T19:34:26","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T18:34:26","slug":"jay-z-reveals-last-words-with-kobe-bryant-before-his-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=191681","title":{"rendered":"Jay Z reveals last words with Kobe Bryant before his death"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Veteran hip hop artiste and music mogul, Jay \u2013 Z has revealed the last thing his late friend and basketball legend, Kobe Bryant told him.<\/p>\n<p>Jay Z while addressing the press at Columbia University on Tuesday said he and his wife, Beyonce were sad and shocked following the death of Bryant.<\/p>\n<p>Bryant, Gianna and seven others died when his helicopter crashed into a hillside in southern California<\/p>\n<p>The music mogul said Kobe during his last conversation with him made boast of how proud he was of his daughter Gigi and her basketball skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKobe was just in the greatest space that I\u2019ve seen him in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the last things he said to me was, you\u2019ve gotta see Gianna play basketball. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jay Z stressed that this was one of the most hurtful things after their death because Kobe was so proud of Gigi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd the look on his face was joyful and I said to him, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s going to be the best female basketball player in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was just so proud. So that\u2019s really a tough one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy wife and I took the death of Kobe and Gigi really tough.
