{"id":181702,"date":"2020-01-05T15:13:58","date_gmt":"2020-01-05T14:13:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=181702"},"modified":"2020-01-05T15:15:06","modified_gmt":"2020-01-05T14:15:06","slug":"epl-rio-ferdinand-reveals-man-uniteds-major-problem-under-solskjaer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=181702","title":{"rendered":"EPL: Rio Ferdinand reveals Man United\u2019s major problem under Solskjaer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has revealed that the club\u2019s major problem under their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season is \u2018inconsistency\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand said this following Man United\u2019s goalless draw against Wolves in the FA Cup third-round encounter on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a better second half but both teams lacked quality in the final third especially,\u2019 Ferdinand told BT Sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey huffed and puffed until they got to the final third, there wasn\u2019t any quality into the box or into either frontman for us [Man Utd] to see a bit of magic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou never came off your seat once in the whole game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ferdinand added: \u201cNot super clearly yet where United are going under Solskjaer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still think it\u2019s a work in progress, the problem has been the inconsistency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecently they\u2019ve beaten Spurs and [Manchester] City and you think they are on the right path, we can see it, they are moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen they go and put in a performance like they did against Arsenal and it was disheartening seeing that game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I think with the young players and the players he\u2019s got out, the inconsistency is not understandable but you can understand where it\u2019s coming from.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has revealed that the club\u2019s major problem under their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season is \u2018inconsistency\u2019.
