{"id":173840,"date":"2019-12-06T22:26:26","date_gmt":"2019-12-06T20:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=173840"},"modified":"2019-12-06T21:38:25","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T20:38:25","slug":"over-993-libya-returnees-in-need-of-psychological-help-nema","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=173840","title":{"rendered":"Over 993 Libya Returnees In Need Of Psychological Help &#8211; NEMA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-jpeg view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/storage\/2019\/12\/Over-993-Libya-Returnees-In-Need-Of-Psychological-Help-Says.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The National Emergency Management Agency has disclosed that at least 993 Nigerian returnees from Libya have psychological needs.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Coordinator, NEMA Lagos Territorial Office, Ibrahim Farinloye, said this at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while receiving a new set of returnees.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201dNigerian returnees from the Niger Republic stood at 1,043 males and 556 females; Morocco male 42, female 37; Liberia male eight and female four.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBurkina Faso male six, female 18, France male three, female one, while Ireland had only one female, but countries like Poland, Austria, Gambia, Mauritania, Ethiopia had one male each assisted back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChad had one male, two females and Cote D\u2019ivoire had only two females brought back within the period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApproximately, adult males are 54 per cent, 37 per cent are for female, while male and female minors stood at four per cent each.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the same vein, the distressed migrants brought back per state of origin shows that Edo State topped the list with 40.6 per cent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Farinloye added that this had brought the total number of returnees from Libya since April 2017 to date to 8,096 males and 5,788 females.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Emergency Management Agency has disclosed that at least 993 Nigerian returnees from Libya have psychological needs.
