Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted that the ball struck his arm during their 3-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The England international said he was worried about being penalised, especially with the use of VAR.<\/p>\n

With Man City on the attack, the ball appeared to have hit the hand of the right-back in the Liverpool area.<\/p>\n

The incident led to huge protests from City players.<\/p>\n

However, the Referee ignored and Liverpool broke down the other end leading to Fabinho\u2019s opening goal.<\/p>\n

VAR checked the handball decision and agreed with the referee, allowing Fabinho\u2019s goal to stand.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it [the ball] might have hit my arm but it hit Bernardo Silva\u2019s first,\u201d Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to carry on playing, they complained but you have to keep on playing.\u201d<\/p>\n
