Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the reported sack of Obafemi Awolowo by President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

Jide Awolowo, Osinbajo\u2019s Special Assistant on Oil and Gas was among the 35 aides of the Vice President said to have been sacked during the week.<\/p>\n

The sack of the Vice President\u2019s aides has generated a lot of controversies and views among Nigerians, with many believing that the action was taken by the President\u2019s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, not Buhari himself.<\/p>\n

Abba Kyari had recently visited President Buhari in London where he presented the amended Deep Offshore Act bill to him.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the sack of the Vice President\u2019s assistants, Omokri tweeted, \u201cThey could not even leave Awolowo\u2019s grandson.<\/p>\n
