{"id":165103,"date":"2019-11-03T14:29:37","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T13:29:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=165103"},"modified":"2019-11-03T14:30:01","modified_gmt":"2019-11-03T13:30:01","slug":"lasema-pulls-down-4-two-storey-buildings-in-lagos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=165103","title":{"rendered":"LASEMA pulls down 4 two-storey buildings in Lagos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/LASEMA-pulls-down-4-two-storey-buildings-in-Lagos.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has pulled down four two-storey buildings under construction in Ikoyi for failing integrity test.<\/p>\n<p>The LASEMA Director-General, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the four buildings under construction at Glover Court, Ikoyi, were in the same compound where a building collapsed on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe test was conducted by Solid Material Testing Agency, Lagos State Building Control Agency and the Ministry of Physical Planning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe test was conducted following rescue of four persons and recovery of one body in the collapsed building at 4:10p.m on Friday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>NAN reports that the collapsed building was under construction<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to pull down the buildings is to avert further loss of lives and property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe operation is now completed,\u201d Oke-Osanyintolu said.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has pulled down four two-storey buildings under construction in Ikoyi for failing integrity test.
