{"id":159417,"date":"2019-10-11T15:00:08","date_gmt":"2019-10-11T14:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=159417"},"modified":"2019-10-11T15:02:23","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T14:02:23","slug":"senator-akume-sends-strong-message-to-people-criticizing-president-buhari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=159417","title":{"rendered":"Senator Akume sends strong message to people criticizing President Buhari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Senator-Akume-sends-strong-message-to-people-criticizing-President-Buhari.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Senator George Akume, has stated that anyone who criticises the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, has a \u201csinister motive\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Akume insisted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), destroyed Nigeria\u2019s economy and looted funds meant to improve security and electricity.<\/p>\n<p>The former Benue State Governor also said Buhari was working tirelessly, to put the country on the right path.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen people talk so much about this government negatively, I believe they have sinister motive and purpose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSincerely, they are no angels in government but there is a big difference between what was and what is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe system was bad when this government came on board in 2015. And at the time we came, virtually all sector of the economy had broken down.
