Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has identified centre-back, Fikayo Tomori as Chelsea\u2019s best defender following the Blues\u2019 2-1 victory over Lille in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Tammy Abraham gave the Premier League side the lead, but Lille levelled before half-time through Victor Osimhen.<\/p>\n

Willian settled the affair with a 77th-minute volley at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.<\/p>\n

But, Ferdinand now believes that Tomori is Chelsea\u2019s best performer in their last three games, adding that the youngster has huge talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cHuge talent he is (in reference to Tomori). That was the best defender on the pitch,\u201d Ferdinand told BT Sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything he did \u2013 his tenacity, his anticipation, his willingness to step up and make quick decisions. He knew there were dangers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Chelsea\u2019s best performer in their last three games. This is what you want from a centre-back,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
