Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud, has spoken out on losing his position to teammate, Tammy Abraham in manager, Frank Lampard\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

Giroud has barely fixture for Chelsea this season with Lampard preferring Abraham as his first-choice striker.<\/p>\n

The France international has played just 191 minutes for Lampard\u2019s men this campaign.<\/p>\n

When asked about his current situation at Chelsea after Chelsea\u2019s UEFA Champions League 2-1 victory over Lille on Wednesday night, the 32-year-old told L\u2019Equipe: \u201cI\u2019m fine, I\u2019ve had a hard time. Now it\u2019s not the ideal situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this moment, little Tammy is walking on water. Listen, it\u2019s hard to drop a striker when he\u2019s successful.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am patient. I work in training. You have to keep a good state of mind. We have a lot of games to play.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast week, I missed all three games because of a dirty virus that tied me to the bed. Now I feel much better.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe coach preferred to start Tammy. It\u2019s good for the team. It makes us want to continue working and shaking up the competition.\u201d<\/p>\n
