Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s Independence Day broadcast.<\/p>\n

Buhari had in a 7am nationwide speech to mark Nigeria at 59, addressed Nigerians on issues and efforts being made by his administration.<\/p>\n

However, Omokri described some of the issues addressed by the President as \u201clies.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a series of tweets, Omokri dared Buhari to sue him.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cPredictably, General @MBuhari gave an Independence Day broadcast full of LIES. In the next series of tweets, I shall be exposing the many lies he told this morning and I challenge the @NGRPresident to sue me<\/p>\n

\u201cGeneral @MBuhari said \u201cIn the last four years, we have combatted the terrorist scourge of Boko Haram\u201d.<\/p>\n
