{"id":156262,"date":"2019-09-29T22:40:53","date_gmt":"2019-09-29T21:40:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=156262"},"modified":"2019-09-29T22:42:42","modified_gmt":"2019-09-29T21:42:42","slug":"activist-deji-adeyanju-apologises-to-buhari-gives-reason","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=156262","title":{"rendered":"Activist Deji Adeyanju apologises to Buhari, gives reason"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Buhari-in-Japan-Nnamdi-Kanu-sponsors-working-to-ensure-Igbos-never-produce-President-Deji-Adeyanju.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Adeyanju Deji, human rights activist, has tendered an apology to President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n<p>Adeyanu, a staunch critic of the Buhari-led administration, gave the apology on his official Twitter page on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Giving reasons for his apology, Adeyanju wrote: \u201cI want to apologize to President Buhari today for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNigerian youths are not only lazy, they are the most hopeless youths in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have no future and there\u2019s no hope for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DAILY POST reports that Adeyanju was arrested on November 28, 2018 alongside Daniel Abobama and Boma Williams for leading a protest to demand the neutrality of the Police in 2019 forthcoming general elections.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Adeyanju, on Thursday dared the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo to resign from office and submit himself to the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.<\/p>\n<p>Adeyanju stated this while reacting to Osinbajo\u2019s comment that he would waive his constitutional immunity to allow for probe into the allegation of him misappropriating N90bn.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adeyanju Deji, human rights activist, has tendered an apology to President Muhammadu Buhari.
