West Ham took the lead on the stroke of half time following a fine finish from Andriy Yarmolenko.<\/p>\n
Keane, a former captain during his days at Old Trafford, said the performance was typical of United in recent times.<\/p>\n
Asked how he felt about West Ham\u2019s opener, Keane told Sky Sports, \u201cHow easy it is for West Ham.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou look at [Mark] Noble here when it eventually comes into him, he ends up taking nine touches on the ball, I think it\u2019s nine.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo pressure on the ball. I could still play today.<\/p>\n
\u201cNice little pass, lovely finish but where is the pressure on the ball? I go back to basics to defending.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnited have bodies back but there\u2019s no good being back unless you\u2019re going to put pressure on the ball. Look at Noble, it\u2019s too easy. Simple.<\/p>\n
\u201cNice bit of quality from West Ham, a lovely finish.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it sums up United\u2019s performances \u2013 as usual, just not good enough.<\/p>\n
\u201cGoing through the motions, walking pace. You\u2019ve got to get to people, it\u2019s the basics of football, particularly in defending.<\/p>\n
