{"id":152816,"date":"2019-09-17T13:46:02","date_gmt":"2019-09-17T12:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=152816"},"modified":"2019-09-17T13:46:33","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T12:46:33","slug":"new-economic-team-how-buhari-heeded-my-advice-moghalu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=152816","title":{"rendered":"New economic team: How Buhari heeded my advice &#8211; Moghalu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/BBNaija-Moghalu-blasts-youths-watching-reality-show.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Kingsley Moghalu, the 2019 Young Progressives Party, YPP, presidential candidate, on Monday, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for setting up a fresh Economic Advisory Council.<\/p>\n<p>Buhari, on Monday, constituted an Economic Advisory Council (EAC), dissolving the previous led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.<\/p>\n<p>Moghalu pointed out that President Buhari heeded his advice and did exactly what he recommended.<\/p>\n<p>The Presidency had said that the new team is made up of the following: Prof. Doyin Salami \u2013 Chairman; Dr. Mohammed Sagagi \u2013 Vice-Chairman; Prof. Ode Ojowu \u2013 Member; Dr. Shehu Yahaya \u2013 Member; Dr. Iyabo Masha \u2013 Member; Prof. Chukwuma Soludo \u2013 Member; Mr. Bismark Rewane \u2013 Member; Dr. Mohammed Adaya Salisu \u2013 Secretary (Senior Special Assistant to the President, Development Policy).<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the development, Moghalu tweeted, \u201cI commend President @MBuhari on his appointment of a new Economic Advisory Council to replace the Economic Management Team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn my book Build, Innovate and Grow (BIG) where I laid out a vision for Nigeria, this was exactly my recommendation on page 273.
