<\/p>\nOnigbinde, a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) government who was recently appointed Technical Adviser at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning by the same government resigned his appointment on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Co-founder of BudgIT joined the Buhari administration as the Technical Adviser at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning and confirmed the development through his Medium\u2019s account after deactivating his Twitter account.<\/p>\n
His appointment by the same government he had criticized in the past four years generated controversies as the development did not go down well with some Nigerians. <\/p>\n
Ezekwesili, reacting, commended Onigbinde for his resignation from Buhari\u2019s government.<\/p>\n
On her Twitter page, she wrote: \u201cKudos, my dear one. Kudos Onigbinde.\u201d<\/p>\n
Also, popular Nigerian Actor\/singer, Banky Wellington condemned Onigbinde\u2019s resignation.<\/p>\n
Lamenting, Banky W in a post on his Twitter page said Nigeria has lost a \u201cgreat opportunity to have someone to hold accountable in office.\u201d<\/p>\n
On his Twitter page, he wrote: \u201cThis makes me sad. Our country would be better off if our brightest minds are serving in government, not just criticizing from the outside.<\/p>\n
