{"id":151070,"date":"2019-09-10T16:14:41","date_gmt":"2019-09-10T15:14:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=151070"},"modified":"2019-09-10T18:09:55","modified_gmt":"2019-09-10T17:09:55","slug":"police-apprehend-army-deserter-for-robbery-in-adamawa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=151070","title":{"rendered":"Police apprehend army deserter for robbery in Adamawa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Bauchi-Police-disperse-crowd-with-teargas-as-Governor-Bala-Abdullahis-supporters-confront-each-other.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Two suspects, including an army deserter, have been arrested by the police in Adamawa for robbing a woman of her car at gunpoint.<\/p>\n<p>The Adamawa Police Command spokesman, DSP Suleiman Yahaya, confirmed the development to newsmen on Tuesday in Yola.<\/p>\n<p>Yahaya said the deserter, Dompa Hyellambamun and one Emmanuel Adeka had accosted a woman in the early hours of Tuesday around target junction in Yola, where they fired four shots scaring her to hand over her car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe immediately reported the incident to our men on patrol in the area, who, in collaboration with some vigilante personnel, trailed the suspects and arrested them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe vehicle was recovered.
