{"id":150364,"date":"2019-09-08T10:48:46","date_gmt":"2019-09-08T09:48:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=150364"},"modified":"2019-09-08T10:54:17","modified_gmt":"2019-09-08T09:54:17","slug":"efcc-operative-allegedly-commits-suicide-in-edo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=150364","title":{"rendered":"EFCC Operative Allegedly Commits Suicide In Edo"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-png view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/EFCC-Operative-Allegedly-Commits-Suicide-In-Edo.png\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Williams Oyibogare, an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has allegedly committed suicide. <\/p>\n<p>According to a report by PUNCH, two empty bottles of Sniper insecticide was found in Oyibogare&#8217;s home, hence the suspicion that the operative must have taken his own life. <\/p>\n<p>The Edo State Police Command said that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of his death, stating that autopsy would reveal the fact.<\/p>\n<p>Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Chidi Nwabuzor, said, \u201cInvestigations are ongoing and it would be too soon to make any conclusions at this stage; it is too early to make any pronouncements. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of course, there will be an autopsy to know the cause of the death and inquire about what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A colleague of the deceased said Oyibogare recently returned from his annual leave looking emaciated.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cOyibogare returned from leave recently looking pale.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He may have died from an illness or it could also have been suicide but we cannot say for sure since we don\u2019t live with him.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Williams Oyibogare, an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has allegedly committed suicide.
