{"id":145427,"date":"2019-08-21T05:50:10","date_gmt":"2019-08-21T04:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=145427"},"modified":"2019-08-21T05:51:22","modified_gmt":"2019-08-21T04:51:22","slug":"kashifu-abdullahi-named-new-nitda-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=145427","title":{"rendered":"Kashifu Abdullahi named new NITDA boss"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-gif view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Kashifu-Abdullahi-Appointed-As-New-NITDA-Boss.gif\" alt=\"\" animated-media=\"animated-media\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mr Kashifu Abdullahi has been appointed by the federal government as the new Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency.<\/p>\n<p>Head, Corporate Affairs and External Relations of NITDA, Mrs Hadiza Umar, confirmed the appointment in Abuja on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Umar quoted a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, confirming the appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Abdullahi until his appointment was a principal officer at the Central Bank of Nigeria but was on secondment to NITDA as a Technical Assistant.<\/p>\n<p>Other appointments by the government according to Shehu, included Senator Basheer Mohammed who replaced Mrs Sadiya Farouk as Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Chioma Ejikeme was appointed to replace Mrs Sharon Ikeazor as the Executive Secretary, Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Adeleke Adewolu\u2019s name had also been forwarded to the Senate to replace Mr Sunday Dare as Executive Commissioner, Nigerian Communications Commission.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr Kashifu Abdullahi has been appointed by the federal government as the new Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency.
